Calling all Boys First through Fifth Grade, come and join Pack 824 for Fun and Education! We will hold an informational meeting on Friday, April 20, 2012 or Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu on Eagle Drive. Pack 824 and Kids in Sports

One of the toughest decisions a parent must make is what activities should my son participate in. It's hard to have to choose between sports and scouting. The leaders of Pack 824 understand this and as such have worked to allow your son time to do both.  Sports are important in the development of boys and so is Scouting.  Sports build team work, physical development and competition.  Scouts build team work, physical development, character development, truth, honor, commitment to family and country, responsibility to learn to care for themselves and their families.  Pack 824 leaders work hard to plan a schedule that will allow our scouts to be in sports and still fulfill their scout program.  Before you rule out scouts, please take the time to speak with our leaders and see if our program will work for you.  Our leaders will make every opportunity for you son to complete the tasks necessary to advance through the various levels in scouts.  See you at the meetings!

Scouting is fun... with a purpose.


The Scouts, families, and leaders of Pack 824 are having another great year!  Each of our events provide fun-filled, family-oriented activities. Pack 824 is sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu. This Cub Scout Pack is very active, family-oriented and FUN!!!


Our annual activities include:

       Pinewood Derby, Handyman Crafts, Pack Camping, Rain Gutter Regatta, Adopt A Serviceman Christmas Project, Hiking, Archery, Christmas Caroling, Pinewood Derby, Scout Fair, Scout Bowling, Memorial Day Flag Ceremony Service, BB Gun Shooting, Nature Center Visit, Model Rocketry, Earth Science Activities and much more!


We typically meet twice a month as a Pack on the first and third Sundays of every month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu.


Our Pack is made up of individual dens.  Dens are groups of 5-8 boys of the same age/grade.  Dens usually meet twice a month. Once for a ‘Den Meeting’ the other for a ‘Go See It’.  The Den Leader and families decide upon specific times and locations.


If you know someone else that might be interested in joining our Pack, pass on our information. Your child can join scouts at any time!
